After a couple of weeks of heavy coding and lots of testing, we’re happy to announce that we rolled out sub-domain support on Active Interview over the weekend.

This was one of the most heavily requested features from customers, and one we were really excited to build. This feature applies to both the management side of the app as well as the questionnaire/screening process.

Now, when you are creating a job-board link for one of your questionnaires, or invite the candidate via email, the link generated is tied to YourOrg.activeinterview.com.

Similarly, the next time you log into your Active Interview account to manage and review your candidates, your domain and organization name will appear in the address bar and the top of the webapp.

In simple terms, this means a completely customized and professional look for both you the recruiting team, and your candidates.

A couple of notes:

• All public job-board URLs will work with or without the sub-domains, which means that previously publicized URLs will continue to work with no issues (the candidate will be re-directed to the correct URL).
• While new customers are able to choose their domain name upon registration, we migrated existing customers to domains based off their group names or email addresses. If you are an existing customer who wants to change the domain we placed you on, don’t hesitate to drop us an email at support _at_ activeinterview.com.
